Dinétah is the ancestral homeland of the Diné. Traditional stories abound about Dinétah, located in present day northwestern New Mexico. There, Changing Woman was born and the first Kinaaldá was held for her. In the canyons you will find stories carved in stone and the landscape dotted with pueblitos.
